Welcome to Catherine College!

You would be handicapped in not being able to see the superb videos that are embedded in our online learning experiences. Our video clips are configured for viewing on Windows Media Player (in either Mac or PC).  It's a great and easy to use program that is available for free on various internet sites.

If you have not already done test #1 and test #2, then click here.  If you have, then go to test #3.

Test #3--I can't see your computer system, but I've been able to help a few women get started with just a "little help from my friends."  When on the internet, go to www.youtube.com.  Click on any of their videos.  What happens?  Do you have good audio and video reception?  If so, you're ready to view our videos.  Read no further.

If you are unable to play any of the videos

If you are unable to play any of the videos, search your existing programs to see whether you already have Windows Media Player.  ***If you haven't the slightest idea how to do this, invite a computer savvy friend or a technician over to examine your computer and to correct your problem.  Print out this email in preparation for that visit.

But let's say that you don't find Windows Media Player and want to upload it.  If you have a very old version, completely delete it first using the program found in your Control Panel.  Then go to Microsoft and download (for free) the latest version of Windows Media Player that fits your computer.  See full details at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/

If you do this and you're still experiencing problems, try going to the "help" or "troubleshooting" section of youtube: http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/topic.py?topic=10559  When I do this, I get the following menu:

***If not, you'll need to invite a computer savvy friend or a technician over to examine your computer and to correct your problem.

In the end, you will need to go to the front page (www.catherinecollege.net) and to click twice on the logo to the right [ Here is what it looks like. ] and to view the video.

Was this helpful to you?

If the above was helpful to you, click on "Reply" (in the lower right corner) and tell our technician about it.  If you have a problem not addressed, then click on "Reply" and tell our technician about it.  Your reply will go directly to our technician's desk and receive prompt attention.  Either way, we are here to keep you humming! big grin
